Today was the first day of the Christmas Art Walk (www.ChristmasArtWalk.com) – and I had the privilege of meeting and greeting art visitors at Carlson’s Hardware, the host site for my piece. I enjoyed the opportunity to explain about “The Gift of Myrrh,” my art title in the 12 stations of the Art Walk.
Last night was the “appreciation dinner” for the artists, store owners and churches participating and supporting this year’s Christmas Art Walk. And this was the first official “unveiling” of the 12 art pieces from 12 commissioned artists being hosted at 12 different stores in downtown Wheaton. The art walk starts today and continues to Christmas Eve. This is my digital painting for “Station 12 – The Gift of Myrrh” For more details about the Art Walk, please visit http://www.ChristmasArtWalk.com
